St Ethelburga's Centre for Reconciliation and Peace is seeking a Associate Project Coordinator (part time) for their City Forum

St Ethelburga's Centre for Reconciliation and Peace is looking to recruit an Associate Project Coordinator who will champion, develop and coordinate St Ethelburga's City Forum one day per week (7.5 hours, to be arranged whenever convenient).

Key duties include:

  • Arranging and chairing the City Forum Organising Committee meetings
  • Coordinating and delivering the City Forum programme of events, collaborative enquiries and masterclass/action learning groups
  • Liaising with partners and stakeholders building interest in the Forum
  • Researching, locating and liaising with potential ‘master class’ leaders and speakers
  • Researching and submitting applications for funding for City Forum
  • Developing a corporate sponsorship package and getting sponsors on board
  • Managing the project budget, ensuring income and expenditure balance
  • Arranging communications and advertising for the City Forum
  • Managing a City Forum blog
  • Managing the City Forum website page
  • Filming and editing videos of speakers and podcasts where possible (support is also possible for this in-house)
  • Keeping an overview of the activities of the Organising Committee (e.g. any networking they engage in individually), ensuring information is circulated, and delegating to the OC as needed
  • Evaluation
  • Contributing to the life and functioning of the St Ethelburga's team

  • Confident with City culture and business leaders, also comfortable with charity ethos
  • Willing to be proactive seeking funding and corporate sponsorship

  • Focused and productive


  • Group facilitation skills, chairing meetings and speaking in public
  • IT savvy
  • Interest in collaborative enquiry, action learning, or dialogue processes
  • Good listening skills
  • Fundraising experience

The Associate Project Coordinator will report to Justine Huxley, the Acting Director. This is a freelance role attracting circa £480 per month (the exact figure will be confirmed at interview), available for 12 months. It is hoped that more funding would be secured before the end of that year.
